DOS program does not close due to running in exclusive mode.
Cause:
The MS-DOS program is running in exclusive mode and does not recognize Windows.
Solution:
Clear the 'MS-DOS mode' check box under the 'Advanced...' button in the 'Program' tab in the 'Properties' dialog box.
1) Right-click the DOS application's icon. (The pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. (The 'Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Program' tab. (The 'Program' tabbed sheet appears.)
4) Click 'Advanced...'. (The 'Advanced Program Setting' window appears.)
5) Clear the 'MS-DOS mode' check box.
6) Click 'OK'.
7) Click 'Apply'.
8) Click 'OK'.
